A 3D action roguelike: an endless crypt of seeded rooms, guardians, blessings and shrines — compiled to WebAssembly so it plays in a browser tab.

Platform engineering

This website is a small distributed system.

Two independent CDNs hold separate copies. A monitor probes both over real HTTPS every few minutes and moves DNS if the primary fails, then waits for ten healthy minutes before moving back.

Hosting architecture GitHub Actions deploys the same files to Netlify and to Bunny Storage. A scheduled monitor checks both and updates the Bunny DNS record that visitors resolve. A certificate job renews one Let's Encrypt certificate and installs it on both CDNs, keeping its state in private S3. I lead engineering for a podcast advertising company: customer-facing web apps, the data platform behind them, and the cloud infrastructure they run on.

  1. 2025 — PRESENT

    Lead Engineer · True Native Media

    • Lead development of AdVero, the web workspace podcast shows, advertisers and staff use to run campaigns, approve ad reads and report issues.
    • Built the campaign-planning data platform: Cloud Run jobs and services for inventory measurement, quotes and sync orchestration, with audits that record production data changes.
    • Designed serverless Airtable, Firestore and BigQuery sync pipelines with schema-drift detection, and manage the Google Cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform.
    • Stood up self-hosted tools on Google Cloud, including a support desk and per-user AI agent workspaces with approval controls, plus email automation with daily health reports.

  2. BEFORE 2025

    • Worked across the whole product system: hardware design, firmware, software and the servers behind them.
    • Ran precision manufacturing, including wire EDM machining, to turn designs into working parts.
